About this Campaign
I am an enrolled citizen of the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation, a state recognized tribe, recognized by the State of Vermont. I live with my husband of 48 years, Bill Gould, in Warner, NH. We bought our farm in 1982 and raised our daughters here. Both of our families have deep roots in this district.
I've enjoyed serving NH as the Representative for Merrimack District 8 these last two years, as a former KRSD Board Member, Chair of the NH Child Welfare Committee and Chair of the NH Commission on Native Affairs. My greatest joy has been in serving the Abenaki community. When asked to serve the new Merrimack 8 as a state representative, it didn't take too long to decide to step up. I am motivated to see the State of New Hampshire recognize the Abenaki Native American Indian tribes.
